Paper clip - never staple, punch or bind Use 1" to 1 1/2" margins, double-space all copy Send excellent letter-quality copy

Always enclose SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope with equal postage) Number pages consecutively on lower right Book title/author's name on all pages, in upper left corner

Suggestions for Writers:
Get a copy of “The Chicago Manual of Style”, Chicago University Press, a great handbook for grammar and construction.  “Writer's Digest” is a good magazine with lots of tips for writing success.  Reading “The New Yorker” is an excellent method to learn perfect sentence structure and word use.  They never have typos.

Be sure to polish your work completely before sending to an agent.  Send only your best effort.
